Kyoto is an interesting city. Here they stick to old traditional things and customs very much, but at the same time, they are quite positive on accepting new ones. One of the examples is that we have old temples and also have a manga museum here.
It seems there will be "Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair" at three places this weekend. I was overwhelmed to see the subway cars were fully covered with manga characters. I do not know at all who they are. Do you know any of those characters? If you are interested and in Kyoto now, it might be good to try visiting on 17 or 18 of September. Here is the site.
