Japanese name
One day a lady student of mine brought her son to the lesson. Her cute boy was five years old, still a stranger to the Japanese language. I asked him in Japanese, "Onamae wa?", which means, "What's your name?" The boy hesitated a little and answered, "I don't know my name in Japanese." That was so lovely. And I thought he was quite clever to imagine at the age of five that his name might have a translation in Japanese!
