Ryu Goto is one of the most famous Japanese violinist who is based in the U.S. In the spring, he performed a concert in Osaka. His Mendelssohn was superb. And the other piece in the program was "Titan" by Mahler conducted by Eliahu Inbal, which was outstanding. The concert was sponsored by a famous Japanese soy-sauce company. Thanks to that, the tickets were less expensive, and moreover, to our surprise, each audience member received 3 bottles of soy-sauce-based seasoning in a bag as a present. It was heavy to carry back home, but I happily use them now when I cook.
