nagara

'A nagara B.' is a sentence pattern that means 'B while A', such as "I drink tea while I listen to music. After introducing its usage, I asked a student to make a sentence, using 'nagara'. After a few seconds, she said, "I drink coffee while I do bungee jumping." It was such an unexpected sentence that I almost spat out the coffee which I was drinking!!! (Sorry to be indecent.)
