Dances of Maiko girls and Geisha ladies remind you of spring in Kyoto. Many of them show graceful and beautiful dances on the stage. I go and see one of the performances every spring. I take my students with me if they want. When once we went together, before the dance show, we could see tea ceremony by a Maiko. Our seat was at the front-most row. The distance between her and us was only one meter. But the one meter was a deep deep ditch. We live in such different worlds.
